Proof the restrooms really got cleaned.
Swap the clipboard on the restroom door for a QR code. Staff scan it with their own phone each time they clean, tick a short checklist and snap a photo. You're emailed when a check is missed, and anyone who finds a problem can scan to tell you.
Restroom cleaning log
A clipboard on the door proves nothing.
Anyone can initial a paper log, at any time, from anywhere, and nobody reads it until there's a complaint. A scan has to happen at the restroom, so the times on the log are the times someone was really there.
On restrooms the public uses, turn on staff PINs so only your staff can log a clean.
- Every restroom checked on time
- A schedule like every hour from 7 AM to 10 PM, with an email when a check is missed.
- What was done
- A checklist at each stop: stocked, floor dry, trash out. A Problem needs a note and lands with you.
- That it was left clean
- Require a photo at any checkpoint before the visit logs.
- Problems between checks
- Customers who scan the code can report an empty dispenser or a spill, with a photo.
- A record you can show
- A daily report to print, or share by link with a manager, a tenant or a client.
How it works
Set up in minutes, from your phone.
No readers, no wands and no app to roll out. If your people can take a photo, they can scan a checkpoint.
- 01
List what gets cleaned
Restrooms, the lobby, the break room. Pick how often they're checked, like every hour you're open.
- 02
Put a code by each door
Print a sticker or a full-page sign for each one, in place of the clipboard.
- 03
Staff scan as they clean
Camera, checklist, photo, done. No app or login, so a new hire can start on their first shift.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
The quickest answer is to try it: add your checkpoints and scan one from your phone in about two minutes. No card. Or ask us.
What is a QR code cleaning log?
It's a cleaning log kept by scanning instead of initialing. A QR code goes by each restroom, and staff scan it with their own phone each time they clean. The scan records who, when and where, with the checklist and any photo, so the log can't be filled in from the break room at the end of the shift.
Can't anyone who scans the code log a cleaning?
Not if you turn on staff PINs. Each person on your team gets their own 4-digit PIN, typed once at the start of a shift, so only staff can log a clean and every visit is signed. Customers who scan can't log one, but they can report a problem.
How do I know they really cleaned, not just scanned?
Make the checkpoint require a photo, so a visit doesn't log until one is taken there, and add a short checklist. Scans are also time and GPS stamped, and flagged when one comes seconds after the last. It won't scrub a floor for you, but it makes a skipped one show.
Can I share the log with a manager or a client?
Yes. Each day has a report with every check, any problems and their photos. Print it, export a CSV, or add their email so they get yesterday's report each morning with a private link. They don't need an account to read it.
Do cleaning staff need an app?
No. Staff point their phone's camera at the code, which opens the checkpoint in the browser. The first scan of a shift asks their name, or their PIN if you use PINs, and every scan after that logs on arrival. Nothing to install, so it works for part-time staff and new hires on day one.
How much does it cost?
Free for up to 5 checkpoints. Pro is $9 a month for your first 10 checkpoints, plus $1 a month for each one after that. Officers, routes and scans are unlimited on both. Every feature is on both plans.
Take the clipboard off the restroom door.
Add your checkpoints and scan them from your phone, right off your screen. No card, and sign up only when you're ready to keep it.
