Every dock door, checked every night.
A dock door left up or a cut fence gets found at 6 AM, if the night rounds missed it. Put a QR code at each dock, gate and fence corner. Whoever does the rounds scans as they go, with a quick checklist, and a skipped round emails you that night.
Warehouse security patrols
Theft, fire and liability happen after hours.
When the building's empty, nobody notices a door left up or a smell from the charging room until morning. Rounds catch them, but only when they're walked, and a scan shows they were.
Self-storage or an equipment yard? The same rounds work: a checkpoint at each gate, building and fence corner.
- Doors and gates secured
- A checklist at each dock door and gate: closed, locked, nothing left running.
- The yard and fence checked
- Checkpoints at the trailer yard and fence corners, with a photo where you want proof.
- Fire risks caught early
- Checks at the charging room and sprinkler riser: no smoke, no heat, valves open.
- A missed round noticed
- An email as the round ends, naming what wasn't checked.
- One record across shifts
- Every round and incident by day, whether the night supervisor, maintenance or a contract guard walked it.
How it works
Set up in minutes, from your phone.
No readers, no wands and no app to roll out. If your people can take a photo, they can scan a checkpoint.
- 01
List the doors, gates and corners
Every dock door, the yard gate, fence corners, the charging room and the roof hatch. Pick when rounds happen, like every two hours after the last shift.
- 02
Post the codes
A sticker beside each door, or an NFC tag where forklifts would scrape a sticker off.
- 03
Scan each round
With a personal phone or a shared one, no app. Patrol mode keeps scanning in dead zones.
An example route
What a after-hours rounds route looks like.
Closed on weekends? Add a route that runs all day Saturday and Sunday. Several buildings? A route each.

After-hours rounds
Every day · 8 PM – 6 AM · every 2 hours
Missed checkpoints are emailed as each round ends, by name.
A round not started is emailed 30 minutes in, while there's time to act.
A Problem on any checklist needs a note, and is emailed to you as an incident.
What you get
Everything the record needs. Nothing to learn.
Checklists at each stop
Doors down, gates locked, no smoke. A Problem needs a note and opens an incident.
Missed-round alerts
An email when a round ends with a door unchecked, or 30 minutes in with nothing scanned.
Scans in dead zones
Patrol mode keeps scanning deep in the racking, then sends with the real times.
QR or NFC
Stickers where they're safe, NFC tags where forklifts and pressure washers would ruin them.
Proof they walked it
GPS stamps, pinned checkpoints, and flags on scans that came too fast or too far away.
A log for the morning
A 7 AM summary of the night, and a report to print or share with the site manager.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
The quickest answer is to try it: add your checkpoints and scan one from your phone in about two minutes. No card. Or ask us.
What should a warehouse security checklist include?
The places a problem starts after hours: every dock door and personnel door, the yard gate and trailer yard, fence corners, the battery charging room, the sprinkler riser and fire pump, the roof hatch and the office. Give each a checkpoint with two or three OK/Problem checks.
Who should do the rounds: guards or our own staff?
Either. Anyone with a phone can walk the round: a night supervisor, maintenance or a contract guard. They type their name or PIN once a shift, and the record and alerts work the same.
Will it work with no cell signal inside the building?
Yes. After the first scan of a shift, patrol mode scans from PatrolBadges' own camera screen and saves every scan on the phone first. They're sent once there's signal, with the time they were really scanned.
Can a sticker survive forklift traffic?
Mount codes at eye level beside doors, away from the forks, or put NFC tags inside a door frame or behind a sign. If one gets damaged, reissue that checkpoint from the dashboard.
Does it replace our alarm or cameras?
No. Alarms and cameras watch all the time; rounds catch what they miss, like a door left up, a leak or a smell. PatrolBadges proves the rounds happened and records what they found.
How much does it cost?
Free for up to 5 checkpoints. Pro is $9 a month for your first 10 checkpoints, plus $1 a month for each one after that. Officers, routes and scans are unlimited on both. Every feature is on both plans.
